It’s Springtime again in Napa Valley. And, like the new buds bursting forth on the vines, the businesses and communities are happily opening once again to welcome guests following a long, challenging year.
A visit to Napa Valley in springtime is always a glorious experience. The Valley and surrounding mountains’ panoramic views are now punctuated by bright yellow rows of mustard blooms that lie between the vineyard rows. The mustard flower phenomenon only occurs in the early Springtime.
To enjoy this remarkable scene to its fullest, you and your family or group should make your reservations to ride aloft on one of our iconic Napa Valley balloons while drifting safely and quietly above the Valley floor.
The Balloons Above the Valley Experience
The Balloons Above the Valley founder and principal pilot Bob Barbarick has been piloting hot air balloons for over forty years. Bob’s extensive experience is a testament to his total commitment to passenger health and safety.
During this pandemic time, the Balloons Above the Valley professionals have adopted an extensive protocol to protect all clients and associates against the further spread of the Covid-19 virus.
From flight preparations to the initial rendezvous and transport to the take-off site and throughout the glorious flight, the Balloons Above the Valley personnel exercise uncompromised safety practices. In addition to the prerequisite flight safety measures, the company is enforcing Covid-19 standards meant to keep your family or group protected.
Covid-19 Protocols
To honor the Balloons Above the Valley Commitment to “maintaining the health and safety of our employees and guests,” the company has instituted the following guidelines:
- During the flight, your family group will be protected in a partitioned compartment within the gondola.
- Employees and guests will complete a health and temperature screening before each flight.
- Social distancing will be maintained throughout the experience.
- Everyone will be issued a bottle of sanitizer to use throughout the experience.
- Vehicles and balloons will undergo sanitizing after each use.
- Protective face coverings will be required of all guests and associates.
- Employees will always wear gloves while frequently sanitizing.
